Billing F.A.Q.

Most patients with insurance will experience a billing process, except for some self pay patients and drug screens.

LabCorp Bills

Most patients will receive a bill from LabCorp if they owe for any part of their laboratory visit. This is paid either over the phone, online, or through the mail according to the instructions written on the bill.

Medical Service Laboratory Bills

Self pay patients or patients whose blood is run in house may get a bill in the mail. This can be paid by mailing a check, or by cash at our laboratory.

Special Kit Bills

Patients who had a special kit drawn, such as Boston Heart or Advise, will receive a bill in the mail if they owe in part for their kit. Patients may pay the bill by the methods listed on the bill.

Billing Errors

If you believe there is a mistake with either your LabCorp or Medical Service Laboratory bill, you can contact us by calling or by email and we’ll do our best to make sure everything is submitted or calculated correctly.

Itemized Bills

If you are a self pay patient and need an itemized bill to turn into your alternative insurance, please stop in or let us know at the time of service and we’ll mail you one usually within a week’s time.
